Spaghetti Monster

Yeah he loved his spaghetti with elk (thanks Poppy!) LOL. I'm trying not to stress over what the little guy eats as much these days.. He has become somewhat of a fussy eater- refusing to eat spoon fed food, then scarfing it down and then throwing a fit and then wanting to eat again. So I decided to just start giving him his whole meal on his 'plate' to let him decide what he wants to eat or not eat (for now). He still gets formula so he's not really at risk of missing out on many calories. So as you can see from this picture, he had a blast and actually ate a lot too. My new relaxed approach is way more enjoyable for us parents too... So you can see were learning lots of tips at our class.

We've had a fun week so far... we have resumed our Mommy and Me activities i.e. story time in Monroe, Corvallis and our class/play group. We are planning on hooking up with Audra and Mikey today for a walk and then tomorrow we are all going to Eugene to pick up Wyatt's 9 month pictures and do some window shopping.

Last night Audra, Michael and Mikey came by for a visit on their way home from dinner. It was so fun getting to hang out with them and watch our boys play together. Mikey is even cuter these days (if that's possible) now that he can really converse. I got a kick out of how he calls airplanes "Hair panes." He told me last night that he was going on a Hairpane to see Papa and PatPat. I didn't correct him but told him how they were coming to see all of us soon. He was of course thrilled :)

This morning Wyatt woke up at 6am.. but in a terrible mood. So after he kept laying his head down over and over, I decided to put him back to bed for an early 'nap.' He went back to sleep for over an hour (and counting).. hoping he wakes up in his usual happy mood otherwise its gonna be a rough day!!
